FlyLikeDaedalus
Got this a few weeks ago and obsessed over it for 5 days. I love the novel concept for a city-builder. I didn't try to master the perfect min-maxed strategy or spend any time reading guides, I just explored the game and what I encountered, again and again was: 'Wait, What? When did everyone die?' The actual cause of the event was variable, but effectively you get to a point when your whole population is specialized and thriving, and suddenly it turns out that Farmer Leigh was the person that effectively supplied bread to the whole village, and the moment he's gone, everyone else is too. Sometimes it was poison plants getting way out of hand way too soon to understand how to deal with them, but at least that was a visible problem that I could pause, adjust, and try to address. Far more often my village went from fine to starved-to-death with almost no warning. By the time I notice that it's happening, there's nothing I can do. I propose a simple fix. There should be the possibility of a setting that allows you to auto-pause and assess whenever a villager dies. I'd probably throw in a bunch of onbu-related stops as well. And a general tutorial on how to address the crisis should be made available, even though a lot of people will probably click around it. Let me know when the next major update hits. I'd love to revisit the Onbu, but right now it seems like I'm likely to ruin my ability to enjoy this game if I continue to try it in its current state.
