to all who don't know what a glowl is: it's a fiery bird thing. 

(starting a roleplay hehe) 

"I'm a Glowl, actually..." A bird-like creature steps into the open. Her feathers are shiny and polished, but also slightly ruffled, like she'd been roughhousing after she preened herself. "I'm Sunburst." She realized her feathers aren't completely neat and immediately starts preening them again.
