So yea this will be for my Wolfquest playthroughs staring with Desert! The son of Dune and Frostbite.

Desert’s Destiny

(Accurate ironwolf playthrough!)

-

Desert had grown into an adult wolf and decided to leave his family pack behind, hoping to have his own family and leave a legacy that would last forever. But he didn’t know of the challenges that lay ahead of him, nor did he know of the dangers that wait around every corner…

He was happy to have caught a hare, it’s a small meal but at least he knew he had something in his stomach today. Though hunger still made his stomach rumbled so he continued on in a search for something more filling.

He had been lucky as he found the scent of an elk herd quickly, and even luckier he had managed to find a weak calf. Though its mother was going to be a problem as he knew it could end him with a swift kick if he didn’t show caution and careful planning.

His hunt was interupted by another dispersal, a dark coated male who seemed intent on claiming the weak calf despite not putting in the effort to help hunt it. But after he thought he lost the one it turned out there was another as another bit his leg which slowed Desert to a stop and caused the elk to get a chance to run off.

He tried to fight but quickly realized 2 against 1 was a losing battle so he turned tail and fled but to his shock they didn’t leave him be, continuing to chase him far from the elk. They both took turns biting him and despite his efforts he couldn’t run, his wounded leg making it impossible to keep a fast pace.

And he felt guilt, his dad and mom spent so much effort raising him just for his legacy to end here, before it even begun. He never he got to hunt his first elk.

(BRUH THAT SUCKED I TRIED SO HARD TO RUN BUT THEY KEPT CHASING ME???)

ATTEMPT 2 OF ACCURATE IRONWOLF WITH A DIFFERENT BOY-

An Ornery Omen

-

While Desert’s legacy quickly ended another had began. Omen, a young 2 year old male wolf, had ventured away from his own home pack. Not to start a legacy but simply to explore far beyond the reaches of his old home.

The chilling wind higher in the mountain didn’t bother the hyper wolf, instead it invigorated him and only made him more excited to explore the treacherous mountains.

As soon as he smelled an elk herd he bolted toward the source, not even showing a wink of caution or care. He even passed on the chance to hunt a hare, despite the fact it would be a guaranteed meal to help fill his stomach.

On his travels he came across a herd of elk! But not the right type, it was a herd of bull elk. As tempted as he was he shook off the temptation and continued on his way with the intent to find a herd of elk with calves, for something easier.

He had luck! He found an extremely weak calf, its limp making it an obvious target for him. He got kicked once but luckily sustained no injures and managed to kill the elk without any more problems.

He quickly ate after hearing the sound of a nearby wolf, not wanting to risk the chance of getting none of his own spoils, before taking a chunk and wandering away. It was tempting but he knew a carcass wouldn’t be left alone for long.

After finding a secluded area he sat down the chunk of meat before laying down and slowly drifting off, happy to have gotten a meal and live the day.

Oof stranger wolves just don't give up sometimes. Maybe running into a wolf packs territory and then out again would get them to de-aggro?

I was thinking of that but sadly the combo of being in the middle of unclaimed territory mixed with a leg injury and two dispersals means I didn't even have a chance to get to try that.

Also cool playthrough so far! I think it's interesting to have stories of a few different wolves in the same playthrough.

Thanks! Different wolves make it more interesting I think! Especially if they have different personalities! I actually might make a new one because Desert died so quickly-

I'll be playing two wolves for now on accurate ironwolf Omen and this new boy!

-

Far from Omen’s adventures was a white wolf named Shark, who was practically the opposite in terms of personality. Skittish and lazy, Shark much preferred going for easy meals over big hunts but he knew he would never attract a mate with his rabbit hunting skills so he promised himself that he would try to hunt a few elk to prove his worth.

But the wolf quickly regretted his choice when the first this he came across was some bison, he wondered if this was a bad omen for the things to come but instead of contemplating it he quickly ran away with his tail between his legs.

The scent of a bison carcass made him stop in his tracks as he sniffed the air to find where it was. As soon as he knew he ran over with excitement at the thought of getting an easy meal.

After getting there he was confronted with a pair of coyotes, an annoyance but he was willing to fight a few coyotes for free food. So he circled them, growling and nipping at them until they gave up. But right after they left a pack of three dogs showed up. He considered running to avoid a fight but then realized he would go hungry if he didn’t so against his better judgement he fought.

It was hard to avoid the bites of three dogs but after some time he had won though not without sustaining an injury in the form of a bruised jaw. He ate then took a chunk of it before turning around and leaving.

As he explored an odd place with square things he found a herd of elk. He remembered his promise to himself and set down the meat chunk before chasing the herd.

He quickly found out it was a mistake as an elk’s kick landed right on his already injured jaw, injuring it further and making him rethink he choice. Deciding it wasn’t worth it, he turned around and looked for his meat chunk before finding a spot to rest.

He made his way around to explore his new surroundings and get to know the area he would be living in for now. On his way he found a herd of elk which felt like a mockery considering his current injuries and failure to hunt an elk the day before. He ignored them and instead focused on continuing to make a mental map of this new area.
