These were the Martians, and unfortunately they ended up going to war with Earth Over a billion people died in this war before the Martians and Earth Humans came to a compromise and decided to ally themselves instead. To end racism, they artificially created a new species of human called the Star People, created for space exploration. Over time Earthlings and Martians disappeared and the entire human race was Star People now. Now humans could expand across the Solar System, and then to other stars. On one alien planet they found something unusual, which was a literal dinosaur that had somehow gotten here from Earth millions of years ago. This got the scientific name ‘Panderavis Pandora’. Some of the Star People thought god did it so there was a resurgence of religion, but there was another camp who thought it was done by a super-advanced alien race and built weapons powerful enough to obliterate planets so they could defend themselves. But that wasn’t enough, because the Star People were attacked by the same alien race that had placed that dinosaur on the other planet. These space bugs were called the Qu, a species who had mastered space travel and genetic modification, conquering multiple galaxies. Because of their religion the Qu thought it was their mission to reshape the universe to their liking, and they didn’t like that the humans were expanding across different stars. So they decided to ‘punish’ the Star People by genetically modifying them into different creatures :] Part 1 :] (Im not putting this all into one post 😧) 1
BirbMonstwo Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 (warning here for descriptions of some gross and unsettling stuff) PART 2! The Worms On one extremely hot desert planet, the humans were turned into the Worms. These weird flesh lumps lived exclusively underground and had very small brains (about the same intelligence as an actual earthworm tbh). They also cannibalised eachother The Mantelopes While they got to keep their human brains, the Mantelopes were stuck in animal bodies that couldn’t interact with the world. Their purpose was to retain memories for the Qu and sing for them. The Predators and The Prey The Predators and Prey were animalistic creatures put on the same planet. Like their namesake, they were simply animals stuck in the cycle of life, both species being once human. The Finger Fishers Simple beings that lived a peaceful life on a water planet with only the occasional archipelago. They spent their days wading through shallow waters, using their extended middle finger to catch fish. The Hedonists Even peacefuller than the Finger Fishers (real) the purpose of the Hedonists was to be pets for the Qu, despite still looking uncannily like humans. The Temptors Created as decorations to put in Qu gardens, female temptors were flesh cones sticking out of the ground, while males were small, beaked goblins. They lived like an ant colonies, with the females commanding males around to bring them food and occasionally mating with them The Titans Massive creatures that looked a lot like elephants. They reached 12 metres (40 feet) in height, and the bottom lip of a human became the trunk The Striders On a moon with extremely low gravity, humans were twisted into the striders, tall and extremely thin people that grazed on grass as tall as trees. Unfortunately because of their thinness their bones were so brittle that a gust of wind could kill them. The Lopsiders The Lopsider’s planet has opposite conditions to the Strider’s home world, with gravity 30 times higher than Earth’s. They were squished into flatfish-like monstrosities, crawling along the floor with 3 of their limbs modified into chunky legs that would pull them along, and the fourth remaining a normal arm, albeit pinned to the floor most of the time. The Swimmers and the Fliers Grouping them into one because neither need much explanation. (Just to clarify, they’re not on the same planet like the predators and prey) The Swimmers looked like sharks/dolphins with human eyes. The fliers had complex quintuple hearts that allowed them to have impressive stamina when flying. The Blind Folk One group of humans tried to hide in bunkers so the Qu really went ‘pffft if you wanna go underground then do that lmao’ so they modified them into eyeless rat people that lives in burrows. The Parasites While at first glance the humans on this planet remained similar, there was another human species here. Parasites made of humans that would infect their former fellow humans. The Bone Crushers These beaked scavengers could only consume rotting meat. For whatever reason, the author decided that they would show affection by pooping on eachother, so that’s permanently ingrained in my brain now. Insectophagi Not much explanation needed here, they were weird humans with anteater tongues and they ate bugs The Colonials Perhaps the worst fate of any of the humans. As a punishment for surviving 2 invasions, the Qu turned these people into living sewage filtration, being simple flesh squares that couldn’t move at all, expect they kept their human brains and eyes The Ruin Haunters Despite looking like unassuming Minecraft villagers these guys become super important to the plot later on. Unlike the others, their planet was left with quite a lot of remnants of Star Person technology. The Spacers There was one type of human that managed to escape the Qu, hiding inside hollow asteroids. Due to their life with pretty much no gravity, their limbs became so weak and spindly that they’d crumple up and die if they ever returned to a normal planet again. They propelled themselves through the air by propelling gas from their censored. So basically they just had fart propulsion, author what were you thinking???????!!??!!??! The Qu ruled over these planets for 40 million years, before leaving without a care as if it was nothing. 1

BirbMonstwo Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 Part 3 With the Qu no longer there to artificially mantain the ecosystems, the new humans were able to live without their rule. It was now evolve or extinct. Extinctions The Mantelopes- Over time the Mantelopes lost their intelligence. In the book it said ‘the planet fell silent’ so it’s likely they went extinct. The Titans- Actually managed to form a simple civilisation. They discovered fire, built things, told legends, and made wood carvings before dying due to an ice age. The Temptors- Wiped out when an asteroid collided with their planet. The Striders- The chickens left on their planet evolved into predators that managed to wipe out all of the striders. The Blind Folk- Wiped out by tectonic movements and earthquakes forcing them to the surface where they couldn’t survive. Almost reached civilisation. The Bone Crushers- Survived until they had a medieval civilisation, before dying due to famine (skill issue) Evolution Worms ->Snake People After their planet cooled down enough to go to the surface, the worms branched out into different species. One arboreal species that evolved after trees began to grow became more intelligent than the rest. Their once tiny hind legs merged to form one large hand on the tip of the tail. They built cities filled with tight tunnels high above the ground, and enjoyed music and reading. These were the Snake People. Predators -> Killer Folk The Predators became more and more intelligent as they developed hunting strategies, and then technology. Due to their nature, murder was legal for most of their history, until a war happened between the ‘killing bad’ side and the ‘keep to traditions’ side. Meanwhile, the prey stayed with their animal intelligence and became livestock. Finger Fishers -> Sail People Due to a shortage of fish, Finger Fishers ended up competing with eachother and adapting to different niches. With one these species, their long fingers became supports for large flaps of skin that caught wind to propel them across the ocean, instead grabbing fish with their elongated mouths and tongues. Surprisingly they managed to develop some sort of civilisation. (C.M Koséman I beg you PLEASE tell me what their buildings looked like) Hedonists -> Satyriacs Without the Qu to keep them as pets the Hedonists became wild creatures. The evolved to look more dinosaur-like with larger brains. There were still hints of their roots in their culture, as the Satyriacs spent all day partying and having concerts. Lopsiders -> Asymmetric People Despite their planet’s crushing gravity, the Lospiders still managed to form a civilisation. As they developed more advanced technology (and somehow space travel???? How are they leaving their planet???) , they created a modified variant of themselves called the Asymmetric People that could survive in more normal gravity. The original Lopsiders were wiped out in a war between old and new. Swimmers -> Tool Breeders Since you can’t invent fire or electricity underwater, the Swimmers found a different way to create technology. They domesticated and genetically engineered various sea creatures to suit their needs. Their houses had hearts, their TVs were colour-changing octopuses, everything was biological in some way. Fliers -> Pterosapiens Since their modified hearts allowed support for both flight and a large brain, the Prerosapiens created a civilisation. However, they were prone to heart attacks and therefore lived only 20 Earth years. Their culture reflected their short lifespan, always speedrunning everything they did and focusing on productivity. Parasites -> Symbiotes The parasites became symbiotically attatched to their host’s heads, piloting them around like a puppet. Often, one symbiote would own multiple hosts for different purposes. Insectophagi -> Bug Facers With their strange face plates the Bug facers looked a lot like their food source. Due to an unknown alien invasion in their history, they became extremely cautious of anyone else Colonials -> Modular People Despite being flesh squares the colonials thrived. They started clumping up to create colonies were each entity served its purpose in the greater whole. They could swap out individuals within each whole at will. Basically imagine if each of your organs and body parts had its own sentience and you could trade them around with your friends. Every species above, apart from the bug facers because of their paranoia, managed to reach out to eachother and all became allies, slowly uncovering their past as the Star People. Ruin Haunters -> Gravitals After finding out their history the Ruin Haunters developed technology far faster than any other species. They believed they were the true heirs of humanity. After their home star started expanding and slowly destroying their planet, they downloaded their consciousness onto floating circular robots with telekenetic abilities. They had one goal- eleminate all the other future humans who they deemed unworthy. Spacers -> Astereomorphs The features of the Spacers became more exaggerated as they evolved into Astereomorphs. They were so spindly they looked like a spiders, had huge heads that contained their giant brains, and a strange tail (extended butt???) to use their ✨fart propulsion ✨to the max. Since they never lost technology or intelligence to the Qu, they were the most advanced of the humans. one more part to go.but that’ll be later so I can do other stuff 👍 1

They lived on their planet with some large reptiles from Earth. Despite their low intelligence the lizard herders took care of the lizards by pure instinct. The lizards later evolved into the Saurosapients. The humans had lost their intelligence, serving the lizards as pets and farm animals, and were very often ridden. However the Saurosapients knew about their steed’s history and treated them with respect, joining the galactic empire as an honary member of the human race.
BirbMonstwo Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 Ok here’s the ACTUAL final part On their mission to be the true remaining humans, the Gravitals wiped out the posthuman civilisations one by one. They did a lot of the killing by building megastructures that would blot out sunlight, causing everyone to die through starvation and cold. For whatever reason the Gravitals decided to leave behind the Bug Facers. They did the work of the Qu all over again, modifying the Bug Facers to suit their needs. However this time little is known about the specifics these new forms. They were now the Subjects. Because of a divide between the Gravital race over whether enslaving the Subjects was ethical, the leaders decided to unite everyone to go invade the Astereomorphs instead. But the Astereomorphs were more advanced and easily thwarted the Gravital invasion. The Astereomorphs started to rule over the Subjects with far more compassion than the Gravitals did. They created a modified version of the Astereomorphs called the Terrestrials, that would monitor the Subjects on land. Rather than killing off all of the Gravitals, they were kept around but with less powers, now existing as helper robots called the New Machines. Within several hundred thousand more years of technological development, the Astereomorphs were able to contact the Andromeda galaxy, and managed to find intelligent life there. These creatures were the Amphicephili, and according to the book they ‘had an evolutionary history just as complex as humans’. They looked like snakes with a body and arms that came out of the mouth. The humans and Anphicephili allied themselves to form the United Galaxies, pushing humanity into a new golden age. The Qu witnessed this all happen. And just as suddenly as they had left, the Qu returned. But this time, humanity was prepared. For hundreds of millions of years, the Astereomorphs had been getting ready for this moment: for revenge. And so, the Qu were taken down, once and for all. In the epilogue, a now completley unrecognisable creature that we can only speculate is related to humans rediscovers what was once planet Earth, and there he finds a human skull, a tiny scrap of evidence that the humans we know right now, in the 21st century, ever existed. And thus ends the billion-year tale of the future of humanity.
