niche is a horror game

is anyone else incredibly nervous about certain parts of niche?? something about jungles and their trees, as well as islands with no/very little ocean freaks me out so badly i literally start shaking. is it just my anxiety disorder or am i not alone with this?

im also afraid of very vast, empty islands, like the frost lands or deadly hills. blegh. i just finished going through them for screenshots and i gave myself the heebie jeebies.

glitches scare me too, but this one extends to every game. i remember a bad glitch (that still happens sometimes) where the island literally DISAPPEARS and theres only ocean. i have to fully step away from my computer 😭 

if anyone else gets unnecessarily scared of niche please let me know im not alone 😭

in terms of glitches that didnt scare me: there was a funny one during the jungle 4update (i wanna say between nesting and jungle? somewhere in there?) water body and toxic body did hilarious things to a nichelings head. every time you clicked on a water body nicheling, its head would start floating up and away in their UI/family tree. if it went too far, it would appear at its feet, and then keep going up. toxic body, however, caused the head to flatten horizontally, which was HILARIOUS

I don't think I ever experienced it but I remember there being a glitch in I think the pattern update that caused goldleeches to become gigantic when they attached to a nicheling

wait so i mentioned a glitch i never experienced but not the one i did experience where water body nichelings would get increasingly more decapitated every time you switched back from them to another nicheling on the family tree until they did a full rotation back to their usual position
