Nohuma is my worldbuilding project that is made to store all of my furry/anthro OCs. This is the thread where all information on it will be stored.

General world rules

-Everyone is an anthro animal.

-Humans never existed. Because of this domestic animals never existed either, because of the lack of humans to make them.

-Unlike Zootopia I actually explain how carnivores eat. They invented lab grown meat

While Nohuma is a much smaller planet than Earth, due to the much denser and heavier internal structure of the planet it has a similiar amount of gravity.

This is a very rough map made using a site called Inkarnate. It is vague in terms of geographic formations which are likeley to be changed in the future.

5 Cladoms

Nohuma is split into 5 'countries', or Cladoms, as they are known in this case. This originates from the word 'clade', and while animals are split into their areas based on family rather than clade, in lore the name came from historical periods where they were.

Furelia

Furelia is the Cladom of mammals. It is the largest Cladom on Nohuma. Because of this, and the sheer diversity of it's inhabitats, it is a mixed pool of many different cultures depending on what regions you go to. However the city design remains similiar across the Cladom. They are built on gigantic, cake-like cylindrical layers, with some buildings inside them and others on top. The bottom layer is often covered in water for marine mammals such as seals and dolphins, with sky-high elevated walkways that primates run across and bats hang from.

Flirale

Flirale, the bird Cladom, is largeley filled with tropical and/or mountainous biomes. The cities are diffucult to navigate if you can't fly- the buildings are the tallest here, hardly anything exists at ground level. Eveything's connected with narrow, precarious walkways and perches, and sky-high public transport that never stops moving.
