"EMBRACE THE COLD."

The foggy breaths along with the crunching of soft-snow beneath a dozen paws, echoed throughout the wilderness. 

The hibernal climate plagued the land in its wake, leaving nothing behind except for the strong howl of the winds and snowdrift. Frost bit at the colonies fur, leaving it frozen and stiff. Still, this did not deter them as they fought their way through the harsh and bitter cold of the north.

They moved as one, flowed like water, and graceful like the wind, refusing to let another lag behind or falter. For as, that would dishonor them; The mighty BOREALISCOLONYand their Leader, BOREALISTAR, guided them through the harsh winter. he would glance behind himself, every-now-and-then to check on his colonies well-being.

However, once the leader turned his gaze forward. a majestic sight approached the bundled cats. It was a wolf. The wolf's coat was as white as the snow that piled up beneath their paws, eyes a piercing blue and brown. mismatched, yet striking in every way.

It was beautiful, a sight they all got to see collectively. They bowed their heads in respect and fear, not knowing what to say or do. they were stunned, to say the least.

"Wolf that has been blessed with a coat white as snow, gaze that has pierced through our very hearts, why have you appeared? what do you require from us?" BorealisStar asked, bowing before the canis.

"I have taken interest in you, and your colony. You have been their Leader for only a moon, and yet you continue to prove why you should keep your status. A true leader, I deem you of worth." It said, circling around the colony of cats, analyzing them respectively. "For your hard-work, you shall be given my blessing. Make Good use of it, Borealis." The wolf began to howl, its cry sounded like it could pierce the heavens itself. 

Suddenly, the colony all started to feel a sense of warmth and relief overcame them. They also had drastic appearance changes too. They were gifted with longer fur, tails, and sharper eyes.

"What have you done to us?" asked a shocked cat, approaching the wolf slightly.

"I have given you my blessing, you shall be given longer coats to adapt in this climate, longer tails to help you balance, and sharp eyes to help you see better. But be warned, these gifts have negatives as well. you will be exposed to heat more prominently than others, and more prone to diseases and infections. So be weary, my children." The wolf stated, pressing its nose against BorealisStar's forehead. marking him with a star on his head.

"Guardian of Borealiscolony, what shall we do now?" inquired the leader.

"Simple, embrace the cold." And with that, the wolf disappeared.

BOREALISCOLONY: Blessed by the wolf, they have been around for only a few moons. however, they are rapidly growing in size. Their camp resides in a cave, and despite being there for only 3 moons, every cat in there knows those tunnels like the back of their paw! they also have a lake in their cave, but they mainly use it as a resting spot or for swimming lessons with apprentices. So far, they have been striving.

here's ma thingy, sorry it's a screenshot...as for backstory i sorta cover it in the family members thingy but apart from that i'm not entirely sure...her mother just dumped her in the camp as a kit because she didn't want to care for a kit. Ebony tries not to think about it too much and thinks of the clan as her family instead of her birth parents since they're the ones who cared for her. Am I allowed to make her an adoptive family or no?
