My name is The Artificer. I am 342 cycles old. My last hibernation shelter was in the northeastern section of the Shaded Citadel, where all the Spitter Spiders are, and I am not married. I work as a slayer of the Scavenger Race in vengeance of my children who were slain by them, and get back to a hibernation shelter at least 20 minutes before the cycle ends at the latest. I do not eat mushrooms, but I occasionally drink. I'm in the hibernation shelter asleep at least 5 minutes before the cycle ends, and make sure that I get at least 8 hours of sleep, no matter what. After devouring a Scavenger and practicing crafting and throwing explosive spears for about 20 minutes, I usually have no problems sleeping until the next cycle. Just like a slugpup, I wake up without fatigue or stress at the beginning of the next cycle, and was told by Five Pebbles that I am fine physically.

I'm trying to explain that I'm a slugcat who formerly wished to live a quiet life. I used to not take care not to trouble myself with enemies, such as "winning" or "losing," as that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That was how I used to deal with society. That was what bought me happiness.

Now, if I were to enter another fight, I wouldn't lose to anyone.
