Anyway STUPID POINTLESS RANT about PEOPLE WHO PORTRAY THE MONSTERS AS INDIVIDUALS INSTEAD OF SPECIES!

ok so where are the logistics of when you portray them as species??? Like how do the basic foundations of the world work? How come the Cataclysm occurred sooo long ago still? Are monsters immortal? Do they reproduce at all? 
it literally doesn’t make any sense! Like do they just exist in a void when you portray them like this? I like my worlds functional, thank you!

a few random headcanons i have:

-every once in a while (once every month? idk) many monsters on the island meet up at the center of the island to perform the island song (the songs we hear in-game)

-the werdos are kind of like celebrities and travel between each of the natural islands to occasionally join in on the island songs

-rares/epics of special monster classes (ethereals/mythicals/seasonals) are slightly rarer than those of others

 

i don’t remember that much of the lore so i’ll probably think of more headcanons later

I just wrote the Werdos and Shugabush out of my AU completley they just don’t fit sorry y’all 😍

im not like a super hardcore fan or anything but i used to be big into it when i was in middle school ... and i recently got reabsorbed into the fandom 😭 BUT YEAH THIS NEW ISLAND IS DRIVING ME INSANE IT HAS BASICALLY ALL OF MY FAVORITES.... IVE BEEN LISTENING TO IT ON LOOP 😭 blarret my beloved
