Poisonous Prey: Newtsnake

A mix of a Firebelly Newt and a Rattlesnake, this prey creature will poison you if you're not stealthy enough!

Found in Swamps, Jungles, and the Grass Mingle, the Newtsnake is a prey item that preys upon Rabbils, and if you get within one tile of it, it will strike out at you, poisoning your nicheling. It doesn't do any immediate damage, but each day it'll take a bit your nicheling's lifespan, just like any other poisoning. They take residence in Rabbil Holes, so watch out- that mound you're watching might just spawn a Newtsnake instead!

I love its colours. It reminds me of a tribe I had living in the Grass Mingle whose population consisted mostly of creatures with black fur and orange spots.
