Snouts randomly changed on my creatures with the bearyena snout

The save file I was playing worked fine the entire week until randomly on load up all my creatures who had the bearyena snout had the poison fangs?  I'm playing version 1.1.4 by the way. I think maybe even a few other genes changed on them too appearance wise. First, the bearyena snout was their main snout gene but they had the poison fangs on them. I exited the game and reloaded. Then the poison fangs became their main snout and the bearyena snout switched to their inactive? Only one of my creatures with that bearyena snout stayed the same which was a recent baby. I'm not sure what to do. I really don't want to delete the save and start a new one.

I assume the devs changed the gene dominance. We had that bug with the Tailfin and Scorpion Tail to. It should  not affect your ability to play with that safe
