(Also, do all wandering nichelings on the whale island have wings? I've encountered about three nichelings so far, and all of them have had the wing gene)

(i also used to have the scorpion tail too ;v; )

(Why must Scorpion Tail be so hard to breed in )

Not all wanderers have wings. Just A LOT. 

Similar thing happened to me. At one point a beaked and double winged nicheling flew over to the calling stump out of nowhere. That wasn’t even my first  nicheling with a wing.

i have a couple creatures with scorpion tail. My trick is breeding scorpion tail recessive to peacock tails/peacock recesssive.

Ok! It's just so hard. Since I did find a wanderer with wings and a scorpion tail, but seeing as most of my other nichelings had normal tail as both dominant AND recessive, it was quickly bred out, and now I'm struggling just to keep it as recessive :L
