Werschaf
Since a few days the CPU load of Niche has increased massively. My existing savegames and also the new ones generate a CPU load of partly 80 - 90% on all 4 cores of my i5-3570k (3.6 GHz). This causes other things to start stuttering in the background and the game has performance issues as well. The problem occured a few days ago, so it's not a patch issue (?) I'm playing on release branch, Steam version, Windows 10. I tried reinstalling the game on a diffrent drive. Nothing changed. A few weeks ago the game ran without any problems and the CPU load was in a normal range where there were no problems. I observed the CPU load with the following programs: openhardwaremonitor task manager ProcessExplorer The high load is definitely due to Niche. Other high performance games are running just fine. The problem only occurs while playing niche. I really hope someone can help me with my Issue. Niche is one of my favourite games. Thanks for reading. Spacestar TheThundersuncat
You might want to ask the devs by using @. That usually gets a reply. I would help you if I knew how... The only comfort I can offer is that the issue went away as it came in my game. Only lasted a few days. Came back. Disappeared fully.

Sky
The most active is @Philo (When you do it yourself, make sure you click the name on the drop-down when you type it, this will make the text green to show that it's working)
Philo
Hmm very strange. Thanks for tagging me @Skysplash8 ^^ @Werschaf Thanks for reporting and sorry for the trouble! Could you maybe send me your save file? That would help to figure out what the problem is. How to find it:
