different manes for male nichelings

I was thinking male nichelings could inherit different mane shapes/styles. for instance;

- the regular mane you see in-game now; kind of the 'default'.
- thicc mane for cold climates, similar to a lion's mane
- thinner mane, maybe more like just a tuft of hair for hot climates
- curly mane (or something similar, i don't know) for being more "attractive"
- messy/mangy mane to look distasteful
- anything someone else might think of?
