1 Jojo
Cute idea but why should the Lynx ears only give attractiveness to males?
0 Fishyfishyfishy500
Call climbers paw Dextrous paw and give +1 collecting too, and tufted ears may give +1 cold resistance

0 sircowcat
i think it would be cool if the lemur tail gave plus 1 distastefulness to scare of predators like in real life
0 magpie
The hairs on lynx ears have a hearing boost function IRL, don't they?

Not gonna lie, I don't see why the tufted ears should add any attractiveness at all. They should definitely add to both genders though, seeing as there isn't a difference between male and female lynx's ear tufts irl @magpieI don't know, I've never heard about this. Do you know anything about how they do this?
0 magpie
@BirdsAreCool I don't know any details, but basically, the hairs help to "catch" soundwaves and direct them into the ear. Trying to attach a proof, hope it's gonna work.
0 Goggles-kun
Surprised that this discussion came up again lol. So when I was writing about the Lynx’s tufted ears, I honestly couldn’t find anything on what it was useful for. So, I just kinda filled in the blanks. I’ll change that tho

I did hear that the hairs do that but not in any kind of scientifiq article so I am not 100% sure either, but for Niche it would be a nice addition anyway
