0 ManTheMister Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 4 drones, 25 part limit each. Cores would explode upon leaving the ring. this would be interesting because your not just pushing your opponent out, you have to stop pushing before you go out as well.
0 Lurkily Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 I'm not sure I see a need for reduced part counts, though ...
0 ManTheMister Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 Maybe 50 would be better than 25. But 4 full sized sumo drones at once?
0 Lurkily Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 . . . . . Yes. Absolutely yes. (Once logic performance being tied to CPU speed is worked out.) You might need to modify sensor criteria to NEAREST enemy drone core, though.
0 Garheardt the Black Posted November 14, 2018 Author Posted November 14, 2018 Aye, my initial concern was how multiple cores might effect performance. Barring that, more carnage!
0 Lurkily Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 I would say provide an unranked version with as many opponents as you like; increase the initial size of the sumo ring to provide a minimum distance from the nearest drone. If you can handle the lagpocalypse, let the game give you as much mayhem as you can take.
