Spacestar TheThundersuncat
Since we have a miss (Mr.) niche competition, the lovely derpsnout companions and wanderers don't get much love. Should there be interest, we could have a competition on this, too. Only a few rules. Each statement is worth points, three are required for entry. The contestant has 1. The derpsnout (2 points), or is a wandering nicheling with derpsnout (3 points). 2. Miss-matched paws or low fertility. (1) 3. A very strange pattern or colour combination, including above average plain-ess. (1) 4. A very interesting story, but no skills for survival in their biome. (2 points), and the derpsnout (3 points)
Spacestar TheThundersuncat
Your reward would be a drawing by me, though it might take a while as I can't draw for life, matching with the theme of the competition. Here is an example: -- derpsnout, missmatched paws and genes for the enviroment. Van is a much loved tribemember by a rather new Clan along the shore, found as an old, cranky cat with many stories to tell, not all of them true. For dramatic effect, of course. Life wouldn't be as fun otherwise.
Sky
Meet Heron! Heron was a member of the Bird Tribe (a tribe that often sends their tribe members to find other tribes and help them,a nd also always have bird names (this is the story for every wanderer found in this tribe), and as you can see if the family tree, he has a lot of tribemates who have come to this tribe. he was found on the Archipelago, but as he grew old, the tribe started moving over the the next small island. Heron was left to take care of a baby that was born right before her mother crossed to the other side. Heron and the child collected food until the other creature was old enough to cross the divide, and before she left, became pregnant with Heron's child. I don't remember what his child looked like, but they were probably pretty cool and, I'm sure, had children. After his mate crossed over to the last small island, Heron collected food alone until he passed away.
Goggles-kun
I'd say the stupidest "derpiest" creature I have is none other than Apricot! That, or I couldn't find any other candidates. If you haven't read my Niche Competition Journal, Apricot is Velvet's mate. He became her mate after swooning her over to his side and having a child with her. Though she thinks Apricot is pretty cool, his crippled jaw still haunts her.
bostonlobstah
Dapper and his reincarnations: The Original (tribe-born. His fertility sucks). I tried to find him a mate but no one was compatible and his fertility was horrible (for story purposes, they thought he was too vain, though attractive with his pattern and mask). So I just left him on the island and moved to a new one. (as a loner in warrior territory) (tribe born but he was part of a wanderer challenge so his father was a wanderer and his mother was the child of wanderers) (as a scorpion tailed wanderer) Dapper is my god of....attractiveness and narcissism. His reincarnations always have derpsnout and C pattern mask.

I have never seen a rogue with active antennae. Melanism and blue eyes are quite striking. He does meet the requirements well even if I were to half some points. (4,5 -- 3,5). Thank your fo your entry!
