Wanderer Challenge

I am going to attempt this challenge, with my own twists

 

Story

We start off with Anako, a young female searching for a mate.

After 5 days, she encounters Rota and mates with him.

When she tries to invite him in, he dies. Anako takes this as a bad omen, but she doesn't know what exactly it means. 

The next day, Meana is born.

As soon as Meana is a child, Anako is dead. She remembers the story of her father Anako told her, and realizes that the family must be cursed.

Meana has attempted to kill herself in the past few days, yet time keeps resetting to the moment before the attempt. Meana sighed, and accepted her fate when she met Nukir.

In a few days, after gathering nesting material, Meana gives birth to Duknuduk.

Having already been explained beforehand to her that the family was cursed and that Meana would die as soon as she was a child, Duknuduk doesn't take it too hard, though she is still quite sad.

After gathering enough nesting material, Tavanta pops out of nowhere. Intrigued by his looks (I mean seriously when do you ever find this awesome-looking of a wanderer), Duknuduk decides that she will not see another island, but her daughter will, and waits the next day to mate with him.

The deed is done.

After a few days of food collecting for her daughter, Duknuduk decides finally to have her.

The next day Memesi is born, with her father's water body (though you can't see it).

Memesi catches a sickness from a mole she hopped out of the nest next to. This worries Duknuduk immensely, and decides that with the curse, Memesi will not make it. Duknuduk shakily kills her.

Duknuduk finds Nuku some days later, and attempts to mate with him, to no avail.

After 2 days, Duknuduk finally mates with Nuku, and she resurfaces on land.

After another day, Duknuduk has Kois, who is healthy. 

For the first time, the mother dies of natural causes, leaving Kois less hurt. She begins her journey to the next island.

Now on a new HUGE island, who will Kois mate with? Who will she have? Find out in the next update!

@bostonlobstah Here ya go! I modified it a bit and used the console a lot (Duknuduk was a boy so I changed his gender), but it's kind of what the challenge was! Right?

Pretty much, yes! (Except I had the starters mate but that's it)

Is the goal to somehow break the curse? That would be interesting. Also, you said that if The main character tries to kill herself, she will be sent back to the moment before the attempt. This really reminds me of Re Zero, which is a really good anime.

I dunno the goal really...In mine I just went for as long as I could (200ish days) until I got bored and made it into a full fledged tribe

Hoping for them to go to the mountains.

I might do something like the Immortal Minerva challenge, where at 1000 days the next Nicheling born would still live as a child at the same time as the mom, and then I would do something else with them, another challenge or something. We're at 40 days currently, so we still have a long way to go. Currently it's just evolution, seeing what genes the next offspring will get, though I am preventing any sick children from being born (Memesi) because they wouldn't be able to find a mate with the luck I'm having 😐.

Just looked up Re Zero and read a small portion of the plot. It's...interesting, and kind of similar.
