Broken Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 Since my last topic didn't go so well... I decided to do one for something newer. I finished the book series, watched and finished the show, and seen the movie. Season Two and Three were good. Probably because the first season was the same as the movie, just a bit more detailed. Except for The Miserable Mill, that one was interesting. I'm getting carried away. I have to go see a movie. But if you have seen the show or movie, or read the book, you can talk about it here.
Lurkily Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 I love what they did with the opening; it's fantastically sung, and the technique of providing a recap as a variant verse in the opening song makes me not hate recaps.
Kitten Posted February 2, 2019 Posted February 2, 2019 It was a great movie, never read the books since I sometimes whenever I read the black words will duplicate, i'll skip lines, or the words will turn into bright hard to read colours.
Kitten Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 I don't have dyslexia I have some form of color blindness & bad eyesight.
Sky Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 I've watched the Netflix series and just read The Beatrice Letters. There's so many mysteries to solve inside that book...
Lurkily Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Words turning bright colors is a new one on me. You might try the audiobooks, though.
Goggles-kun Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Seen the entirety of the Netflix series and I really want to read the books now. My favorite episode is still the one at Dr. Montgomery’s house... or the first one!
Lilytuft Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 I'm watching the netflix series, but I'm not very far
