Aether Posted February 7, 2019 Posted February 7, 2019 I would kill him then go to the afterlife and kill him again. I would also kill everyone who convinced me to go on that ride. Then go to the afterlife and kill them to. Acrophobia is not a joke, guys. 1

Lurkily Posted February 8, 2019 Posted February 8, 2019 My big question, is why not return to the heights, where you took off from? It seemed pretty open out there, and it had to be safer than that long flight.
Lurkily Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 I will admit not to knowing a lot about hang gliding specifically, but my understanding is that you need relatively flat, open area, and he's got a lot of that just downhill from his launch. I can't see why he can't circle around. He doesn't even have to land, just get close enough to the ground for a safe drop.
Kitten Posted February 9, 2019 Author Posted February 9, 2019 hmm possibly, maybe he was just so in the moment
Kitten Posted February 9, 2019 Author Posted February 9, 2019 But hang gliding is probably his job and it's beyond me how he just forgot to strap him in, there could've been worse injuries, or even death.
Lurkily Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 Oh, yes, that's definitely the worse offense. But that's the danger with training; the first danger of training is that you might become complacent with your ability; that's usually where mistakes get made. It's important, and it should never be forgotten, but I know how it happens. (I've taken and given safety-related training before.)
Kitten Posted February 9, 2019 Author Posted February 9, 2019 Like i'm sure he's done it a million times, that poor man must've gotten the short end of the stick. Russian roulette with hang gliders!
Basil Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 man: *looks down at woman almost falling out* "im gonna eat cheetos when i get home" legit what i can imagine him saying for some reason lmao
