Toxic body not randomized in Sandbox mode?

Minor Bug

Post

Testing the new sandbox update, I noticed that when starting with a toxic body nicheling, they are always green. Testing to see how this would affect any other toxic bodied nichelings. And so, I filled up the entire gene settings page with toxic bodied nichelings to see what coloring they would be. What I found was interesting.

First test:

Huh, It appears that green is the dominant color overall on this one. So I decided to try it again:

Its... exactly the same as the last one: 4 Green, 2 Red, and 1 of Blue, Yellow, and Purple

I thought that this might have been because I was naming the file the same thing. So I renamed it and tried again:

... The same. Maybe it was because I was using the same island for all three tests?

alright, for the next few tests, I decided that I would give the nichelings different heads to remember their positioning:

Test #1

Test #2

The analysis: The nichelings with the sabertooth snout, platypus beak, Sticky Tongue, and Digging Trunk are all Green. Purrsnout and Short Snout are Red. Bat Head is Blue, Gills is Purple, and lastly, the Big Snout is Yellow.

So, by these tests, it appears that Toxic Body's coloring is NOT actually randomized. I not sure is this is a bug, or if this is caused by the game's limits.

Update: I made a different sandbox settings option filled with all toxic bodied nichelings, and I got the same result.

Okay, so out of curiosity I tried replicating this same exact scenario.

Purple was in the upper left most corner. The first Green was beside it.
Red was below purple.
The second Green was next to red. Then the Blue. Then the second Red.
Third Green. Fourth Green. Then lastly, Yellow.

So yeah. It doesn't seem randomized and isn't specific to just your game either.

Could this have to do with the order the nichelings are created in?

Funnily enough, they all appear blue in the sandbox creator.

Huh.

Order of creation and  places:

Test 1:

1. Green (platypus beak)

2. Blue

3. Green (brown pattern)

4. Green ( gills)

5. Red (derp snout)

6. Purple

7. Green (white pattern)

8. Red (gills)

9. Yellow

Same placement apart from the yellow- but if you look at the first post it matches the island spawn.

Order of creation corresponding to places/ colour?

The exact same. Each tile seems to be given a number and toxic body colour. When the spawns are different shapes, the numbered tiles move but the numbers and colours stay the same-

no. 6 will always be purple,

no 1 will always be green etc.

Hope this helps to unravel the Toxic Body Mystery!
