yeetoffthesmallcliff
Even though the new update is awesome and all, I decided to just do a normal playthrough for my first one on here, because why not. No ranks (for now), no settings, no challenges, just normal Niche. We begin with Taku and Mirera, two runaways (and best friends) from an extremely strict tribe that just want a normal life without any rules. Their senses tell them that no food sources are nearby, so by Taku's insistence, they wade into the water where Taku discovers a berry bush and is miraculously able to pick one for Mirera. She smiles and picks three for him in return. After many days of traveling across the coast, romance blossoms, and they decide they want to have a child together. Taku finds a berry bush and Mirera declares that she will have their children here. Mirera gets pregnant, but soon after a young Nicheling by the name of Rako wanders over. She doesn't remember anything except a great storm and then being washed up on the coast the day before along with her name. Out of pity, the new couple adopts her as one of their own. Afterwards, Mirera settles down and makes a nest while Taku clears out the area. The next day, a long-snouted boy named Rovan is born.
yeetoffthesmallcliff
After a long break, I'm back with different gem colors and a TON of new syllables for names! New syllables will be added regularly to spice it up and make it more like human names. Though surprised at the looks of their first biological child, they came to accept him and went about their day, Mirera protecting him while clearing out the area and Taku diving back into the water to look for food. Rako is now an adult, and even though the Taeras "adopted" her, they ignored her the next day. She realizes that these Nichelings have no care for her, and she won't find her past if she doesn't go looking for it, so she does. Rovan hops off the nest, giving Mirera some rest to collect a few berries. Taku continues his search for worms. Rako discovers a nut tree, which she uses for a much-needed food source. The next day, Rovan feels an urge to go into the water, and Mirera pays no attention or care. He dives deeper than a normal Nicheling should've been able to, and splashes around playfully. Rako has befriended a Bunnil! And Taku continues looking for his favorite worms.
