melanism has faint patterns

This would be so nice. Maybe randomization of how faint the pattern is like the randomization of the toxic body colors... so some are so faint its hardly noticible and some it's a bit more noticeable. Like an opacity of 5% to 30%.

This is actually an example of abundism, or pseudo-melanism, rather than melanism. It can be seen in tigers and leopards as well as zebras. I don't think you get truly melanistic zebras?

This is the closest we've gotten to a melanistic zebra (this one like you said has pseudo-melanism) He looks like a little okapi!

I figured that, I just thought maybe it was melanistic but it couldn't really reach a level like that? Because of the white?
