family tree issues?

First, sorry for any mistakes. English is not my first language.

I just noticed, that some of my nichelings without offspring vanish from the family tree after they died. Or those with offspring after some generations with offspring. I did't go to another island or anything.

I haven't played for some time but I'm quite sure that did't happen the last time I played.

I hope, it is a bug and not a change to the family tree I just missed (:

Animals that don't have anymore relatives and die are removed from the family tree.
It has been like this since the family tree was first introduced.

Maybe the name family tree is a bit confusing in the first place, since it is really more of an overview of all living animals.
Also, a proper "ancestor tree" with all animals that ever lived is definitely something that would be cool.
Maybe suggest it for the next community voting :)?
