What if you added a harsh sickness option (a slider) that made it so each day the baby’s had one gem (so increasing difficulty for having babies longer than one day) and they were sick was a fifty percent chance they die as “infants”. Since babies are weaker and all.
The reasoning is even if they are sickly sometimes you breed them anyways to force a gene into the family tree. This would make that more risky.
I feel as though the game would benefit from more options to make it difficult besides island choice!
