Why don't you put all the genes you don't consider 'normal' in the forbidden genes list? Or what do you mean?

I tried that once, there isn't enough room for all the forbidden genes

You could just put the bodies as the normal body and then forbidden genes could have nimble fingers, webbed paw and the snouts that aren’t normal for starters.

that might fix it.

I have noticed something similar. Idk if it's been fixed but water genes are abnormally common in my starters. I once restarted a challenge 3 times because each time one of my nichlings had either waterbody, or one of the water head or paw genes. (Or all at once)
