Dominance

Currently, when creating a nickeling in the sandbox, if i, lets say, put sticky tongue on top and derp snout as recessive, it automatically switches them. When i am trying to do story telling, this becomes problematic. Could you change this?

It might be more beneficial to learn dominance in general. They both have a 50% of being passed on, but seeing random flips throughout the game would get annoying very fast. You'll specialise slower, less predictably and bad traits become more prominent. If your starters are random, both might be blind. That does not sound appealing.

So you want the genes to have no dominance at all? How would it be determined then which gene gets passed along? I don't see this as particularly useful not even for story telling
