So today we had history jeopardy. Nearly everyone on my team had their notes out but I didn't and answered all of the questions with ease and quickly.

Like Civil War stuff so you can't say I just got it from Hamilton.

Also I am still shook by having to answer all the questions.

Me: A ton.

hmm.... let’s see the answers

”Stay Alive”

”Story of Tonight”

oh ok let’s just go with the first.

(I got it right after realizing I read the question wrong but lol.)

So... Philip (not historically, but from the musical more from the OBC.) looks like my brother...

that’s why Philip’s death is the saddest death for me.

So my dad and I got into a little crash. We just kinda spun out on the road and hit the side rail thing. Nobody was around so we didn’t hit anyone and nobody hit us so we’re totally fine. It just shook me.

My dad:...

My dad: Burr was a better shot.

Me: ... frick you.

So I can’t find the quote and I have to go now, but there was a letter I believe Hamilton wrote to either Eliza or Laurens that sounded a lot like Silver/Leigh (what do we call you now aaaa). I’ll have to find it later.

(Also @leighdical what pronouns do you go by? For some reason I don’t know this.)

Silver, I’ll change my name tag later, and I’m she/her.

I can’t wait to see it by the way ❤️

It was to Laurens.image.thumb.jpg.d37157d55c6e518bddc206d10a1bb23d.jpg

I know it’s not a positive quote but he did some good things.

Also relatability!

Edit: This general view of the world was brightened when he met Eliza :D

(Also Gn.)

Best name of Tennessee cities (That I can name off of the top of my head.)

Paris

Philadelphia

Lafayette (Not to be confused with Fayetteville)

Yorkville

Some that I can't recall of the top of my head but they exist:

Ooltewah

White House

Ethridge
Etowah

Crump

By far the best:

Guys

Halls

Bells

Burns

All three of these are named after Lafayette and I just learned that. (Of course I knew Lafayette was named after Lafayette but wasn't 100% sure about Fayetteville or Paris.)

Basically, Paris was named after the capital of his country.

And Fayetteville was named after Fayetteville, North Carolina which was named after Lafayette.

And I'm assuming Jefferson City and Johnson City are named after the presidents respectively. Lemme see...

Yep, Jefferson City was named after him in 1901 after originally being called 'Mossy Creek'

And nope, Johnson was named after a Railroad station... But then the name was changed to Haynesville cause Civil War and the Confederacy but then changed back after the South's loss and Andrew Johnson being put into office.

However, Jackson was renamed Jackson after Andrew Jackson. Who died in Nashville so I guess that's something... Originally Alexandria.

And Madison county was named after James Madison.

If you couldn't tell we have a thing for presidents that have names starting with J. Also I got everything from Wikipedia (Not Angel) so take everything with a grain of salt. I couldn't find it anywhere else.

So I read this post saying that George Washington once at a dinner played with his fork and knife and used them like a drumstick. It quoted the page from Ron Chernow's book (The Hamilton one, not the Washington one.) so I picked it up and I CAN CONFIRM THAT GEORGE WASHINGTON DID THIS THING THAT WE ALL DO EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE

I WATCHED A DOCUMENTARY, THE BED IS ACTUALLY LIKE THIS

Another note on the Monticello: There was a Hamilton bust in there.

https://www.monticello.org/site/research-and-collections/alexander-hamilton-bust-sculpture

It has it's own 2-minute mini documentary.
