Meerkat Manor Challenge

This was a challenge inspired by a Meerkat documentary.

Sandbox settings:

Age settings:

Baby: 3 days

Child: 5 days

Teen: 5 days

Adult: 50 days

Pregnancy duration is 3 days, and all damage multipliers are set to x7, while the healing multiplier is set to 3.

You start out with a group of 5 randomly generated creatures, and pick one male and one female as your main breeding pair. The female will be your matriarch, and the leader of the tribe. For meerkats out in the wild, there will usually be one breeding pair, and the rest of their gang is made up of their children. However, on few occasions a rebellious female may mate with either a wild male, or a wandering male from a rival gang. When these females give birth, there is a chance that the matriarch will just kill the cubs, or that she will accept them. There is also a chance of the rebellious female being driven out.

For some of the events that happen, I enjoy using a random generator to decide on the outcome. For example, if the lead female is being challenged one of her daughters for matriarch, you can use a random generator set from 1 to 10. Any uneven numbers mean that the rival female failed, and positive number means that she succeeded. This can be also be used to determine whether a rival female is banished, when fights with rival gangs happen, ect.

Rulees:

1. There is only one breeding pair, and only wandering females can be allowed into the tribe. However, for role play purposes, you can decide on whether or not a female mates with a wandering male, or whether one of you males wanders off to mate with wandering, banished, or rival females.

2. The lead female has to choose a den site, and any pups she has that are either still a baby or child must stay at the den. They must have at least 2 babysitters watching over them.

3. Depending on the island, you can move your den to different areas of the map whenever resources like berry bushes, nut trees, termite mounds, snails and bunnl hills are no longer spawning enough food.

4. Tribe number limits would be around 40 or so, but if you are wanting to have multiple gangs, its optional.

Win options: These are optional, but I have mine set to have:

100 generations

A heat resistance greater then 5

Strength greater than 6.

Thats about it. :D
