He had a brother named [insert name] (look, I haven't read the books in months) and he was all sick and Oka cared more about him. So she abandoned Toklo because she was afraid he would die, too. Kallik had a brother name Taqqiq. They were all fine and dandy until it was some storm and Kallik's mother (Nisa) got killed by a killer whale.
