A random scout encounters Stormfront the Cloud-eater. He is not discovered, but does not learn whose bones the creature is chewing on. Red feathers litter the ground, but also... others. This is, after all, very near the precipice of a battle field.

A skull-like pattern stretches over a figure in the light. She freezes in terror at the sheer size of it. However, evidently, he is blind. When Lichen returns to the Deep, she might have had one of strangest conversations of a lifetime. (Unknown results are unknown.

I can tell you that not making strange friends would have kept her more mellow. = fewer future struggles for the crown's hierarchy)
