If your picture is uploaded in the internet in a public space (such as these forums), you have no control over who downloads it. So if pictures are posted in the forums, everyone (even people who aren't even registered) can download them without you knowing. So if you want to keep a picture to yourself, make sure it's sent via private message. It's a different thing if you claim ownership.
