Both need major improvements, I'm just glad the remake has four legs. georgie Posted July 4, 2019 Share Posted July 4, 2019 one thing I can confirm is that, when you improve generally, your art and characters become FAR more varied. not only in shape language, but just general proportions and oH MY GOD IT MAKES MY ART LOOK SO GOOOODD (once you get out of the "okay I draw eyes like this" style phase, its so fun. I realised my whole "oki ima draw eyes like this, with this exact shape" thing was bad, and just.. fell back onto slightly cartoony anime eyes and its so much more... fun!! im making an animation meme right now, and when I drew anameme I had so much fun trying to make everything the light touches triangular shaped, same with vankir but with circles+squares. niche actually helped with growing out of that phase a lot!- because of all the varied snout genes and face shapes, so when I drew them I had kind of already beaten "same face syndrome" this is the anameme and (half finished) vankir drawings in question. see what I mean? 1 1 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
