uhhh it's been a long time since this but I actually haven't read a whole lot of books recently

(right now my favorite book is Ella Minnow Pea (13+, yes I'm doing age ratings too), though I also loved the Clockwork Three (10+) (I hate that the cover it shows here has pictures of the kids on it. one of my favorite things bout the book is that it never describes what the three look like beyond "she has long braids")

right now I'm reading Sherlock Holmes (13+ just be old enough to understand it) as well as the fourth book in the Mirror Visitor series (15+)

I haven't been reading books a lot recently but i recommend Iron Widow. It's not for kids tho but it's great! The author is Xiran Jay Zhao, they has a YouTube channel as well where they talk about Chinese history
