I took a break to play Shelter 2, and it helped me calm down.

So basically while I’m on break.. I’m gonna be playing through my new Shelter 2 save, since I was getting bored of the one before. This one has my own telling of my own mother Lynx and her kittens, as well as possible lore going on within the game and yeah.. etc.

Also.. about my anxiety, I do not mean to always lash out on the forums, I’ve been so caught up and worried about my Zevorien generator. So what did my brain suggest I’d play? Well Shelter 2 of course! I enjoyed that game all the way, and even played on Survival mode! Man it was a walk of relaxation and small tension that’s for sure.

So here I have some pictures taken from my IPad while playing the game:

This was my mother Lynx named “Ventrax” no, not Inna, I decided on a more original Lynx for my tastes.

Here’s her kittens! ^w^

The red kitten was named Tastre,  the black kitten was named Kora,  the brown kitten was named Evelyn,  and the white kitten was named Sovru(some made up names and some already taken ones basically..) both the red and white are male, and the brown and black are female.

Now fast forward to winter, Ventrax’s Coat is covered in snow, while her kittens are playing and frolicking in the snow! ^o^

Now we get to springtime later on, where the family had spent most of their time hunting quails, they’ve been exposed to a hunger epidemic that had come close to taking the kittens alive.. thankfully however the deer I caught later on was enough to feed them all, all except for Evelyn however.. who got a bunny instead, she’s kind’ve the loner type, Kora is the strong and bold type, Sovru is gluttonous one, always getting behind his family though because of his shy personality.. and then finally Tastre, who had always wanted to lead the family, he was too cocky and prideful of a Lynx though.. so none of his siblings ever really appreciated him leading the way, almost getting them into trouble, even after leaving the family along with some of his brothers and sisters.

Ventrax is now all alone.. she decided to return to the woods where she raised all of her kittens there, and to seek some alone time as well.

That night.. she was mourning so sad for her kittens, it seems she misses them terribly, and wished they could all come to see her again.. but that’s just life.. the life of a Lynx unfortunately.

(please ignore the light on the right.. I had my computer next to a window and I didn’t realize it was this bright..)

When Ventrax was looking for a new Lynx mate to share some company, she suddenly came across something.. familiar... something she wouldn’t expect to find!

Soon.. she had an encounter with an old mate of her’s! She had trouble trying to remember the red Lynx, but once he spoke his name of “Hovire”(I’m VERY creative aren’t I? )she immediately jumped! She rushed in and rubbed her cheeks against his neck, she knew the name of Hovire before! It was the father of her very own kittens! Lynxes mate, then part ways.. never to see each other again.. but this rare occurrence had Ventrax bursting with calm joy! She then decided that she wanted to become mates with Hovire again, spending a few more moments with him.

(I felt like I forgot to mention Ventrax’s calm personality.. YES she is calm, which makes her a good hunter! Especially when hunting TONS of those quails!)

Anyways.. I’m terrible at writing right now because I’m tired and soon it’ll be my bedtime in an hour! So if you folks don’t mind.. I’m gonna go draw for a bit. Goodnight y’all!

Oh yeah.. I remember, well thankfully you get to watch me play the white kitten soon as suggested by @FlowerMask! :3

Sovru’s Journey

Sovru was a kitten raised previously by his mother Ventrax, they had explored a secluded forest near their home, and eventually traveled further far from their home into an undiscovered area, there Sovru and his siblings parted ways from their mother.

The siblings and Sovru continued to explore the unknown forested area, they hung out together, got into trouble together, sharing almost timeless memories with each other, until the three siblings found mates of their own and also parted ways from Sovru, he sadly didn’t get a mate in time like them, not until he met the most beautiful Lynx to ever admire his clumsy and shy personality. The female Lynx bore all 4 kittens for Sovru after leaving her, she felt emotional of course, but she had her kittens! That is.. until something happened. Wolves... the wolves came in trying to kill the mother’s cubs, she had no choice but to leave her kittens in a hidden place, and sacrifice herself to the wolf pack. There the kittens were shivering in fear.. hungry, and worried that they would never see their mother again.  That night however.. a strange male Lynx came in, the kittens mewled in fear, because the father normally doesn’t care for them, and if he saw them, he’d probably kill them.. but Sovru was not this type of Lynx, he wasn’t sure if they were his kits, so he was almost nervous and reluctant to keep them, but soon he had no choice, and had to take the kittens under his wing, for the survival of the species, and not just for competition.

“Don’t worry little guys.. I’ll keep you safe and sound. ... hopefully..” Sovru said nervously.

Kittens: DADDY! DADDY! WE NEED FOOD! MEW MEW MEW!

Sovru: .......

(One Hunt later..)

Sovru: Heres your food you.. you little... weasels!

Kittens: MEW MEW! WE NEED MORE!

Sovru: AAAGGH! How does my mate deal with these kitties everyday?!

Sovru: Oh shoot.. Spring’s here! Now the prey will notice me faster.. agh I gotta think fast!!
