DreamShark
I’ve noticed that “satellites” (Logic Parts I’ve decoupled from the main ship) stop working after being disconnected for a certain amount of time. Don’t know if it’s affected by distance or time apart. They work for a while, but just stop. I use it to be lazy and save space on my main drone - heh. Currently used for Shield toggling, Resource gathering toggling, and I had logic for a magnet, which I stopped using for the moment. Anyone else run into this kind of thing? More testing needed! Markus
I tried to test it, but could not replicate it (in the simulation). Do you think it might be possible that the logic-construction you made got destroyed off-screen by some enemies? Can you try to drop the logic-parts somewhere save (on top of nimbatus or into the container) and then play again?
DreamShark
From memory, I've tried letting it drop directly into the Collector Ship, and I've also set it to quietly thrust straight up to the Main Ship. Entirely possible they were destroyed though. I wonder if I can magnetize it to the main ship.
Markus
I think we removed the magnetization from the main ship (and container) because the bio barrel mission was too hard when the magnet also attracted the container. It will be back in a later update though
Micha
Could not reproduce this. Most likely a part got wrecked Logic part connections are not affected by distance or time. They can only break when a part gets destroyed or by a logic splitter.
DreamShark
Yeah couldn't reproduce either when I tested it a few times. >_> Sorry about that. I should have done more testing on my end.
