Plagues & Hollows || RP ||

Me and Renio have been working on this :3

Lore:

Long ago, (~500 years ago) animals existed on Plaepura. Lynxes, Dragons, Sabertooth Tigers, Wolves but the protector of the species were dragons. 

 

As time went on, hybrids became apparent. Lynx-Dragons, Dragon-wolves… but pure dragon blood was dying out. Ashfire was infuriated that his species, the pure dragon… no… true dragon was dying out. 

He rallied up followers to harness the powers of an ancient plague, so ancient it’s name forgotten so we’ll remember it as Ashflame. 

As this plague spread out it’s jaws of death devouring and consuming everything in sight before 3 dragons: WhirlShire, Vintavus, and Lilawood of The Peaks of Balance, MidMire, and TaigaHollows respectively. They worked together to create a rune so powerful it could contain the plague.

The Rune is hidden in the Tower of the Stars under powerful magic. 

 

The Plaguelands was already too far gone though. Every creature but the dragon was wiped out in the areas. And any creature to step onto it without magic protecting them will be poisoned and die within a few days without a cure.

 

The main ‘dragon’ of each area is a reigning protector of the biome.

 

That is where the story ends… so far…

 

Areas:

Plaugelands-

A 100% Dragon wasteland. The dragons there have adapted to live to there surroundings often eating dead bark or bones. 

Their ‘protectors’ are often chosen by battle.

(Current ‘protectors’: Broken Fang)

 

MidMire-

Mid mire is a boggy, foggy swamp full of wildlife

However ~20%  is dragons and ~30% Dragon hybrids. The plague mostly affected the Midmire inhabitants, often leaving plagued food around from when animals wandered to close…

Their protectors are kings or queens chosen by royalty.

(Current protector: King WingWyrm)

 

Peaks of Balance-

Around 30% is non dragon population 20% Pure dragon and 50% Dragon hybrid

The terrain is rough and animals + plants sparse so the plague did not have a chance to spread up into the peaks… luckily. 

Also note pure dragons living here are over 100s of years old, meaning they might have lived through the plague.

Their protectors are chosen by age and wisdom.

(Current protector is Tiltaurus.)

 

TaigaHollow-

An enchanted hollow of a taiga. 50% Hybrid 25% non dragon and 25% dragon.

It is the largest un-plauged biome. Many of the Pure Dragons of the Peaks dislike the TaigaHollow dragons despite Lilawood actually doing most work on the rune.

 

Luna Isles- 

An island created by the intense magic of the three who stopped the plague. It is unlikely that any who have visited the island have left. The magic there is powerful.

The only inhabitant is Luma, a stone dragon who was made by the magic of Lilawood. And their only task is to kill whoever tries to get the rune.

He lives in taigahallow
