They're very similar. Terraria is more lore based though. (It has more bosses.) And more myth based. (Minecraft does have somethings that aren't realisitc. Take Spider sizes. But... you can't mine it without a demonite pickaxe. So you'd either have to beat the eye (Multiple times) or beat the E.O.W. once to mine it up.
