Welcome to BareClan, which happens to be the only Clan here at the moment, but FrozenClan with come later.
This is your leader, Barestar.

This is the only other Nicheling here, Crabtail. She is also a queen.

Day 1: We're heading to that tree. We find nothing other than a clam that Barestar picks up.

Day 2: We find a berry bush. Crabtail and Barestar have a conversation. Barestar is yellow and Crabtail is red.
"A berry bush. This is nice, to bad it's not beside that tree over there-"
"Berries! Berries! Berries! Yay! Something that's familiar! All I've been eating is this rotten dried up berries that we were left with..."
"Hey! You would be starving if I didn't scramble those up! What about that clam?"
"I hate clams more than those dried up berries."
"Noted."

Day 3: A conversation and a nest.
"Ooo! A nest! Anyway, what are you planning to do when we get to that tree?"
"Settle down and make that the camp, perhaps have children."
"What?"
"I didn't say with you!"
"Oh um okay. That wasn't what I meant-"

It rains and nothing else happens.
"Hey um Barestar-"
"What, Crabtail?"
"I was just wondering maybe since... well... yesterday. I mean, w-w-will you be my m-m-m-mate?"
"...Yes Crabtail, I will."

Day 5:
Crabtail announces she's expecting Barestar's kit.
Crabtail also finds a berry bush and stump.

Day 6: They don't get anywhere.
"I hate this dodomingo…"
"I hate this weird rogue male that just passed me..."

Day 7: They get to the tree. Crabtail settles down immediately.
Barestar snuggles up next to Crabtail. "Our child will be the best Nicheling to ever live. They will grow up to be the next leader and have our grand children. They will protect their clan with their life and love their family more than ever. They will be the best."
"I sure hope so, Barestar."

Day 8: Their bundle of joy is born. It rains
"I-I... love her. She's so beautiful."
"She is as beautiful as she seems. Her name should be something about fire, with the crackle of it in her eyes..."
"What about Applefire? She's born under a tree, plain but yet beautiful, with the crackle of fire in her eyes, you said."
"That's a beautiful name. She will be raised under this tree. StarClan, I call upon you to look at our new child and give it a good life,"
"As she deserves."

I didn't want to name her "Fire", "Flame" or "Flare" so I was like what else is red

okay I need tips on how to write such good characters that people can choose a favorite cause nobody seems to like my playthroughs and that's why i don't do them anymore

All that's needed is to: a. immediately give them personalities and make them likable along with flaws and b. keep a low population so you can give them regular conversations with others to build their character
