Learning skills

Lilytuft

Post

I've seen a few suggestions like this, but no quite the same thing.

So basically, when your nichelings attempt doing something that they don't have the skill for, for example cracking open a clam, they get a slightly better chance of success next time they try it. If the attempt is successful, it will increase the learning even more.

Nicheling belongs to @ImpyFawn10 , if you don't want your nicheling to be used as consept art, let me know and I'll remove it

Would the learning experience apply to one single thing (i.e. breaking open an acorn), to an ability (i.e. cracking), or to all things the nicheling doesn't have the genetic ability to do?

An ability most likely. Seems like the easiest and most logical option to me

Would it be a percent based thing? Like every time you try you gain a 0.25% in that skill. Then when you try again you have a +0.25% chance to succeed?

yep
