Velvet Paw Too Common?

Not sure if its just my bad luck or if the game is coded that way, but Velvet paw is supper common for my sand box games. As an experiment I tried loading 50 new sandbox games. Of those 50, 47 of them had one or both Nichelings with Velvet Paw and 33 of those had one or both Nichelings with double Velvet Paw. Its kind of annoying but im more curious to find out if this is the case with anyone else. Please let me know~!

I agree. Velvet Paw is too common in the starting pairs on sandbox IMO, and I find myself treating it as a negative gene that needs to be bred out more often than not.

It's not that comon for me but I think it's a good starting gene.

I find it popping up a lot in my Sandbox games as well. Unlike you, however I rather enjoy it. It's a good, basic gene, doesn't look ugly, and allows for food collection without much strife. The second or third most common for me is digging paw. That's the one I don't like, but it's more a personal taste thing.

Yeah digging paw is quite comon and I don't really like it becuase it speads like the plague. Same with spiky body, if one of my starter creatures just has it in recesive my entire tribe ends up being filled with spiky creatures. It's quite anoying because it dosn't give speed and I hate slow creatures.
