The main point of the challenge is that the only nichelings are yours. New genes can be unlocked by getting a random mutation made by this generator. Whenever a baby is born, randomize on the generator. If there are no new genes, then don't do anything. if it says your nicheling has mutated something, used the console to replace either the dominant/top or recessive/bottom gene, depending on what the generator says. There is a chance that your nicheling could have generated a bad gene (derp snout (most people would probably call it a bad gene, anyway), infertility, deformed paw, etc). Only genes that normally require a wanderer/ice block nicheling to unlock the gene are in the generator (well, plus the bad genes); that includes albinism, melanism, and immunity genes (for a while you might have to deal with only 4, until you can get one to mutate!).

Sandbox settings: Disable rogues, wanderers, home island wanderers, ice blocks, and perma nests. Name the starters Adam and Eve. No blind genes. No unlocking all genes at start. Do not give yourself an unfair amount of food or nesting material. You can edit your nichelings' genes, but it'd be preferred if you restricted the genes to only ones that starters normally have (i.e. no genes that are in the generator, excluding bad genes and immunities), because doing otherwise gives an unfair advantage. However, you CAN edit your Adam to have the genes of the story mode Adam. Other than these things, you may do whatever you want (you can turn off other species, change age settings, whatever).

(P.S. the save that received the vanishing nest bug is the tribe I was testing this challenge on)
