Sky Posted February 12, 2020 Author Posted February 12, 2020 in the sunshine she lay she enjoyed its ray until the clouds came out and filled her with doubt would the sun ever come? would the sky stay numb? no answer there were but soon light hit her fur for the sun had come back and joy she did not lack because in light she would lie until she heard a cry "Mother," it would shout "Why did father run out?" "Father went where?" "He went over there," and the cub would point and the lioness it would disappoint for Father had run to have great fun with other mothers with their sons and daughters his mate and cub, shunned forgotten, unloved and stunned left to die until there were no more questions of "why" and a new lion would come "Come with me, little one" and the lions would run as far as they could away from that wretched, horrible stud to start a new family of more than three for a new cub would be bared no more families would be shared for this lion did not like to fuss because "There is nothing more important than us." 3 1
Sky Posted February 12, 2020 Author Posted February 12, 2020 there slithered a snake his name was Jake his scales were as bright as day his eyes like a sun's ray wandered by a crow "I'll warn you this, because I know; if I see you again, Someone will break your slimy skin!" so Jake went away to a meadow to play until a rhino stepped and Jake's family wept for little Jake was gone and there would never be a dawn that the crow would not cry, "You forgot I can fly!" 2 1
Sky Posted February 12, 2020 Author Posted February 12, 2020 I really want to explain the stories behind the poems.. please, ask 1

Is it supernatural? What is the story? Are all of them(Your poems) related? Since this is about poems, accept this offering 😜 (I can't do poems) What is a poem Some say it's a curse all about the traverse I'll rather sleep on the verse (I wasn't joking, I failed the test in school when we had to write one.) 1

The poems aren't related, I just amde them up as I went In the first one, it's basically about a girl who was tied up and in chains, but she found a fire to burn the chains away, which made her famous. The chains and fire can be metaphorical, too 1
Katumai Posted February 12, 2020 Posted February 12, 2020 Allow me to show you a poem I wrote in class: When I die Bury me deep Lay two skulls at my feet Wrap red string around my head And chant the silence When im dead. 5

Sky Posted February 13, 2020 Author Posted February 13, 2020 okay so I wrote another long poem (not as long as that other one though), but it's religious, so I'm just going to post a link to it, and if you want to read it, read it, and you can use the little comment feature at the top right corner (looks like a speech bubble) on the link's website if you want to make any comments on it. that way, if any fights ensue, it will stay in a safe place away from the forums (don't bring any fights here, please). Hopefully this is a good enough remedy to get around the rules I know that a majority of you will either not look at it or hate it (if you know you're going to hate it, please, just don't read it, I don't want to make people angry), but I really want to share this because I'm really proud of it https://docs.google.com/document/d/14Tobh46Ml4XkTbmYpVUrw8VCv_6Zb2R-nYp4zle1q9c/edit?usp=sharing 3
