@inmiu do you think retiring her father before she was born had a hand in this? Or was it some freak accident?

@Modiano Oh no, sorry to hear the game/your phone crashed and messed your save fies up!
I'd say it sounds like  freak accident/bug, that corrupted your save files. 😬

Did you lose many Nichelings? Is the game still playable?

The game is still playable, I lost all nichelings that weren't retired.

Hey I have a glitch were all my worlds are taken I can replace move or even select them and yes I uninstall and restalled the game help! Oh and it's on ps4

this is helpful yes, but its only for PC saves. they said they were on ps4.

as for the save problem... id say delete your data in your ps4 settings and it should reset everything.

So I reset my progress a while ago and only just looked at the retirement isle since i retired Eve and uh...

It seems that the retired nichelings from the previous game are still here...
