georgie Posted March 23, 2020 Share Posted March 23, 2020 cw/// child neglect/ emotional abuse apparently a year 7 (11 years old) who gets on the same bus as me to school and lives in the same flat block as me is being isolated in his room by his mum and he literally isn't allowed to go within 6 ft of anyone in the house. he has to stay in his room to do work and can only leave to get his own food (mum cant go near him to give him food) or go to the toilet. my mum just showed me his mum's facebook post with a picture of him in his bed before she shut the door captioned "see you in 3 weeks -kids name- 👋!!!" and like. oh my god I feel so sorry for him hes literally not going to be able to see/ talk to another human for 3 WEEKS  (this is all because a girl in our school got tested positive for it last tuesday) 6 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I hope it can count towards my community service hours No updates on farm animals. As for the ‘Chinese virus’ thing, I can see how it could be offensive to some. I don’t think it’s a huuuge deal personally, but like Georgie said it can be an excuse to be racist although I don’t believe that’s often the intention.
