Cloude Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 My school is closed for a month ((Mostly due to students like me with almost all the symptoms on a daily basis)) Everybody in my area starts a lockdown/quarantine with military supervision in about 2 weeks Some people are starting to get in fights and even pull out weapons over supplies from the stores My household is full of people with brain and lung problems, including severe asthma and one of us having both cancer and a lung problem that had led to a surgery in the past One of my grandmas will be on house isolation because she is 65 years old My aunt is a nurse taking care of people with suspected corona My aunt has a somewhat newborn (under 0), a 3year old, and a 2year old that are constantly sick. We babysit them tomorrow. I am starting to cough like crazy Mom has an anxiety tick that causes her to cough like crazy in public, and she will most likely get banned from the stores and put on home isolation. I have been sick for the past week with lowering blood pressure, still don't know what disease it is 5
bostonlobstah Posted March 16, 2020 Author Posted March 16, 2020 Hey y’all, sorry it’s been a hot minute, my life updates: So school got pushed back to the 27th, and tonight I just found out it got pushed even further to April 7!! But we are doing virtual school starting tomorrow No one is sick...yet. Went to TSC and Walmart today though so we’ll see. 3 weeks off means time for expanding the farm. Might mean new chickens or a certain fluffy cow. Who knows. Also. The gov of ma just said that going to Large gatherings and sit-down restaurants are not allowed, lol not stonks 1 3

You're supposed to have enough essentials to quarantine yourself at home for 14 days if you catch it. Some people are just panicking, others are seeing dollar signs and grabbing all the TP to resell at 1000% profit. That hasn't been happening here so far. People are stocking up, but sensibly. 1 1 2
Spacestar TheThundersuncat Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Check this out (My aunt sent this. No idea where it's from. willhaben, probably. ) 3

Lilytuft Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 ATTENTION School just closed. What the frick. This isn't supposed to happen. Not when it's my most important semester. We might miss TET. I was looking forward to TET since we won't be going to Bremen. We might miss our 9th grade dance. But at least no math test tomorrow. But I'll have to study from home. This is the strangest thing ever. Is this what having snow days feels like? Exept it's corona days? 5

Lilytuft Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 This is so confusing. Out of all the wars, natural disasters and stuff I never tought anything like this could happen. A month off from school... That's the longest break aside from summer! 3
Lilytuft Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 The government has officially taken it too far. I get the 10 person gathering limit for everything else, but funerals is where I draw the line. Some random people at power shouldn't be able to tell you wether you can attend the funeral of a loved one. Oh, your friend died? Too bad! Their family already exeeds the 10 person limit so not even all of them can attend! Let's hope people can avoid dying for now... 4

Exept it's corona days? well... snow days are a little different snow days are often maybe one or even two days off from school, but as soon as those days are over, you go back to school as if nothing happened "corona days" are much longer ;-; many people have to do online classes, and actually do work for weeks. snow days are just fun days off also none of my teachers of contacted me at ALL and its been a whole weekend and two days off like i need stuff to do 2
