We don't know what the future has waiting for us." The female spoke up. "Uhm…" The winged nicheling raised a wing. "How am I going to do that?" He asked. "You scout ahead. You can get around faster than any of us." She said, staring him in the eyes. She then looked at the others. "Now lets get to it before the sun sets." She looks at the winged nicheling and striped male plucking at the grass. She growled and clawed the winged nicheling to get his attention. "Hey! You're supposed to be scouting, not sitting around ding nothing!" She hissed, flicking her tail angrily. "I'm sorry ma'am, but what happens if something tries to eat me?" He asked nervously, the singular claw on each wing digging weakly at the ground. Rodriquez sniffs at it a few times before stepping to the side to let Chestnut get a good look at it. After examination, she proceeds to step into the nest. She calls the silent nicheling to her side. "This is the perfect spot to rest.." She mumbled, running her nimble fingers along a leaf blade from the berry bush. "Again." She said, looking down at Chocolate. "But you haven't even named her..." Rodriguez mumbled. Chestnut turned her head and glared at him. "Her name is Mud. Now stop talking." Venom joins the group, staring at the two children. Chestnut looks him over before deciding that they would be a better mate. Venom and Ebony sniffed out a wanderer, who Venom invited into the tribe. Chestnut glared at the wanderer, hissing when the wanderer attempted to pick some berries. Chocolate has discovered the many different scents of carnivore plants. He harvests from a friendly plant, and warn the children not to go close to the plant in the middle. The brown-furred heir is the first to try to go down and say hello. The nicheling tarts to run, but is blocked by Dodo. Dodo starts to question the nicheling, and they drop the fruit and start crying. They start ranting about just needing help. Dodo shushes them, and hands the fruit back to them. Dodo somehow convinces the nicheling to join them. Chestnut looks down at her child, staring at the claw. She let a small smile creep onto her face. "She's stronger than the rest." She mumbled, curling her tail around the heiress. "She'll take my place when she matures. Now, leave and send somebody else. I'm done with you." She said, glaring at Venom. They all start talking, fear evident in their voices. When some of them start to yell at eachother, Rodriguez just flies off.
