Before I Leave-A story based playthrough (Discontinued)

[Katumai]

Loud splashes were heard as the last of them leapt to the shore, skidding to a halt in the grass.

The brown male looked behind him, mind absent as the rocks sunk to the bottom. No turning back now.

"So, where are we heading?" 

His head turned to Seashore, who was staring at him expectantly. So were Jawbone and Crest, actually.

Capricorn took a deep breath, frantically looking around until he spotted something.

"I guess we go deeper."

 

i hope i can actually finish this one-

From left to right: Capricorn, Seashore, Crest, Jawbone

These four young nichelings left their home due to a famine, that swept through the lands like a plague. They were the only young nichelings left alive, and so, though it was a hard decision, they left to go start anew, on an island that would hopefully be able to sustain them. Capricorn is their young leader, and will try his best to keep them alive.

[Katumai]

Shoving himself through the grass, Jawbone stumbled over something, whipping around to snarl at at it. As he looked closer, he realized it was a nest, and tore away some more grass.

It was right under a tree too, perfect.

The group searched the area, and Capricorn discovered another nest not far away.

"Well, I guess we're home."

 

[Katumai]

In order to get the tribe going, Capricorn and Crest decide to have children. Not out of love, but a neccessity.

They advise that Seashore and Jawbone do the same.

 

[Katumai]

The storm raged as Crest settled into her nest, sheltered from the rain under the tree. Seashore was beside her collecting berries, and the boys were out scouting.

Something felt...off, to her. She couldnt place it, but it felt as if something wrong was going to happen.

"Seashore?"

"Hm?"

"Something feels...wrong."

"You're just paranoid." 

Seashore replied nonchalantly, cracking open an acorn.

"Stop working yourself up."

 

[Katumai]

In the morning, a little girl lay curled up at Crest's side.

"What are you naming her?" Seashore asked, less out of interest and more out of politeness.

"Hmm....Tai."

 

[Katumai]

The next day, Crest and Capricorn decide to have more children.

Tai has already opened her eyes, and is playing with the leaves of a berry bush.

 

In the morning, the most peculiar child is born.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING?!" Seashore screeched, startling Tai. 

The son in the nest let out a mewl, his already huge horns jabbing Crest in the ribs.

Crest was silent, staring at her baby in confusion.

Why did he look so...freakish?

Just now, Clover said:

Unaware of whatever is going on back home, Capricorn and Jawbone are exploring.

Capricorn finds a neat little spot, while Jawbone finds...Uncle Creepo. Great.

Seashore and Jawbone decide to try and contribute, Jawbone sue to pressure and Seashore because of her hatred towards whatever hideous abomination is Tusk.

"We need something to counter that hideous creature."

 

The result is Treasure, a toxicbodied male that is Seashore's pride and joy.

 

[Katumai]

Tusk and Tai find a ring of berry bushes, and Treasure unjokingly dares Tusk to eat one.

 

 

Crest also finds a young female named Anare, and takes to showing her around the camp.

 

[Katumai]

Seashore gives birth to another child, this time a girl named Acid.

 

 

Crest and Capricorn are surprised to welcome twins.

One looks a bit strange with his bird beak.

At least he doesnt look like Tusk. Crest though to herself, letting out a breath of relief.

 

(The twins are Root and Redwood)

[Katumai]

Tusk fails to catch a rabbil, and Acid and Treasure cackle at him from behind the berry bushes.

 

[Katumai]

Tusk flinched as thunder banged in the sky above, shivering as he felt the cold rain seep into his bones.

This sucked. They wouldnt even let him take shelter under the tree.

Why did they hate him so much?

Holding back tears, he curled his tail around himself, closing his eyes tight.

"Are you alright?"

His gaze shot up, catching the female that stood above him. She was massive, towering over him by at least a head.

Quickly wiping away some tears, he tried to smile. 

"Im fi-" His voice cut off, instead his jaws snapping shut as another violent shiver wracked his body.

"Are you cold? Why dont you just take shelter?"

"They wont let me under the tree."

The female blinked, seeming like she wanted to ask why. But she didnt, instead curling up next to him.

"Well, I can keep you warm."

Tusk just blinked, not moving as she shuffled herself so he was in her thick fur.

"Wh-"

"You're cold, do you really think im going to let you freeze?"

Tusk didnt answer, instead closing his eyes, burying as much of himself as possible against this kind female.

As he drifted to sleep, she said one last thing.

"Im Anare, by the way."

 

(shhh dont mind that random wanderer)

Seashore and Jawbone have another daughter, a beautiful little girl and their first one without toxic body.

 

[Katumai]

Treasure is absolute trash, I strongly dislike him bc he told my son to eat the bad berries. I think one of the twins with acid would work

Treasure is a little brat, hes Seashore's favorite child, so she spoiled him

Root and Acid could work, maybe they bond over a mutual dislike of Tusk
