The Tribe of Neversights

After pushing Dragonfly away, Toxin stared at Haste expectantly. Haste sighed and looked down at the child.

"She's cream-coloured and sports a claw." She mumbled, looking away. She wanted to love her children, but their father wouldn't let her have time to bond with them.

Sugarglider looked up, blinking a few times. She then cuddled up to her mother, but fell over when Haste left the nest. She mewed a few times, but all she got in return was a scar from her father's claw.

 

 

Bumble shows up in the middle of Ivan's lecture about imaginary friends. Grasshopper looked over, but Ivan yelled at her to focus. Grasshopper whimpered and looked up at her father, backing up towards some grass.

Bee flicked his ear, trying to figure out what exactly was happening. He took a few steps forward, then called for Bumble.

Bumble ran over and calmed Bee down, and explained what was happening.
