Hello, 

This is an excellent game. I dove straight into programmer mode and haven’t looked back. Seldom do I make suggestions like these so, again, excellent game...

Rewards in programmer mode seem minor - (obviously succeeding is it’s own reward but more unlocks would be better) (having all items available from the start is great but then the game does feel a little empty, even with weapon mods also I can make a major upgrade via research before even playing)... it just feels too easy (yes the challenge is in the programming but more tangible rewards for progress would be cool)

I really want to emphasize that you’ve got a really cool thing going with programmer mode by the way... id like to see more challenges

Speed sensor should have a setting to detect speed as it does now, or horizontal speed or vertical speed

Distance sensor needs more sensing options (those things that blow up and spew out dirt are detected as containers, for example)

More items please

I experienced game breaking slowdown unless I turned anti-aliasing and bloom off? I think it had something to do with signal increasing/decreasing engine thrust on the variable engines (I had multiple going for various reasons)

Alternative uses for resources - the factory part is very strong... it would be nice to have to acquire and store resources for it - those stored resources could be slowly combined and refined (using refinery parts) to form higher tier resources which can be used to construct higher tier parts

Does the game engine allow for stabilizing struts?

Can factories repair partially damaged templates without having to detach?

Using a 1 second signal to rotate a rotator (with a distance sensor attached to it) in roughly a 90 degree arc and back again theoretically should produce a consistent sensor sweep in an isolated 90 arc but it does not

VTOL thruster aims on its own - this should need to be done using the rotation detecting directional sensor

Free roam mode would be cool - implement mining and resources for constructing things like your drone and maybe a base you’d need to defend?

Factories are really awesome - maybe too awesome - if the above resource suggestion is out of scope perhaps they can be made to use massive amounts of energy while they are building?

Remote resource transfer takes a lot of the challenge (and things to do) out of programmer mode - perhaps this can be unlocked later?

This game is awesome. I think the community sees that. Please expand your scope and offer some DLC so development can continue.

I agree that the factory part is Overpowered and needs to be toned down. 

 

And I think making Remote Resource transfer an exclusive starting perk of the Engineer is a good idea.

The Engineer, after all, has to contend with parts overhead, tool limitations and lack of offensive perks.There is no need for the Programmer to have it right away also; infinite parts is infinitely powerful.
